Total Yardage: 7,370 Yards

The PGA TOUR hosts world-class tournaments at some historic locations, including the Detroit Golf Club, which was founded in 1899. Designer Donald Ross—highly regarded as one of the 20th century’s finest course architects—managed to squeeze two courses onto the 45-acre plot of land. The one you’ll find in PGA TOUR 2K23 is the lengthy North Course—host of the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

The opening hole is the same as it was back in 1916. The Detroit Golf Club is a relatively flat course, but Ross’ ability to incorporate the natural landscape makes for a challenging round. Over one hundred years after the course’s creation, it became the home of the Rocket Mortgage Classic in 2019, and always features some late-season drama.

Featured Hole: No. 11 (188 yards, par 3)

The 11th hole at Detroit Golf Club is the longest par 3 of the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Depending on where the tees are placed, the distance can vary anywhere from 188 yards to 233 yards, making it difficult to come away with a low score. Roughly 24% of players bogey this hole, while only 9% manage to walk away with a birdie.
