TPC SAN ANTONIO

Est. Read Time45 seconds

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Designed By: Greg Norman

Total Yardage: 7,435 Yards

Roughly 20 miles north of the serene San Antonio River Walk is one of Texas’ best courses: TPC San Antonio. This Par 72, 7,435-yard course features vegetation native to the area for a more natural look and feel, differentiating it from many of the other tournament-style courses designed for competitive play. The Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio stands proudly on its own as a tournament venue in the heart of Texas. It’s become the host of the Valero Texas Open—the third oldest PGA TOUR tournament—which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Featured Hole: 16th, Par 3, 189 Yards

The scorecard might suggest this is the easiest hole on the course, but don’t let the 18 Handicap fool you. Anchored by a group of bunkers on the front left side of the hole, your main focus should be avoiding the bullseye of a bunker in the center of the green. Depending on where the pin is placed, it might take you a couple strokes to putt your way around the donut bunker if you land on the opposite side of the pin.
