TPC BOSTON

Est. Read Time47 seconds

Location: Norton, Massachusetts

Designed By: Arnold Palmer

Total Yardage: 7,274 yards

Originally designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer, the course was redesigned in 2007 by Gil Hanse and consultant Brad Faxon. Featuring 64 bunkers and plenty of thick rough to keep you hacking your way to the finish line, TPC Boston is a fairly challenging course, but offers a couple holes where you can cut corners if you possess the necessary power to carry the hazards. Bask in its rich landscape and plush greens in MyCAREER or against your friends online.

Featured Hole: 2nd (Par 5, 542 Yards)

The second hole of TPC Boston forms a slight crescent shape with a forest to the right, and a large group of trees on the left as you approach the green. Attempting to reach the green in two strokes is a daunting task, considering the first shot doesn’t provide the best window of opportunity, and there’s a treacherous body of water standing in between the fairway and the pin. Most pros make the responsible choice and lay up, allowing them an easy pitch from the edge of the fairway. Even the best of the best have to approach this hole with caution.
