This is the Dude Perfect / PGA TOUR 2K23 Crossover Update. While the name might not be as off-the-wall as one of Dude Perfect’s jaw-dropping trick shots, the ability to play as Cody Jones, Garrett Hilbert, and Tyler Toney is just as exciting. Via the latest update, you can hit the links as three of the crew’s energetic personalities, and unleash a whole new set of virtually impossible shots.

Earlier this year, the Dude Perfect team hosted a friendly competition with PGA TOUR pro Collin Morikawa to determine who would be a playable character in PGA TOUR 2K23—excluding Morikawa, who’s already a playable pro. The rules were simple: make a golf club using items in their warehouse, then play a hole of golf with it; the three lowest scorers would be scanned into the game and immortalized. 

The guys let their creativity run wild, using wooden mallets, PVC clubs, and even an air compressor, but their crafting skills aren’t quite as advanced as their pinpoint precision. Fortunately, you don’t need to participate in a carpentry challenge to play as Cody Jones, Garrett Hilbert, or Tyler Toney—all you need is a controller!
